Zomg. Christmas. So eventful. But I mean, should I really be surprised?

Christmas was quite good. Spent the morning eating chocolate and rifling through presents as per usual. Went to Nick's and opened my stocking presents with his family. I got a lot of chocolate there too. :3 came back and opened the presents that were from Nick and I to my parents and bro. Aaron loled at his Chuck Norris calendar, which was good. XD Went out for dim sum with family. Good Buddy's was PACKED. And we were the only white people in there. It was all going quite well until Nick started trying to pronounce "Dragonball" with a Japanese accent and the guy sitting behind him at the next table gave him a dirty glare. I guess he thought we were mocking asian accents? XP Went to the L-side family get together. Watched some special features from HP6, which Kris gave Aaron. Some day I would like to visit the Harry Potter theme park that is opening in Orlando... Anyway, then we dropped off Nick and headed to the R-side family dinner. Met Jay's new girlfriend Autumn, who, despite appearances (bumpit hair!!!!), seems like a nice girl. Many of Charles's family came along as well. It was quite the gathering. Also Kristi brough along her new boyfriend, who reminds me a LOT of Chris Sampson. XD Then went home and had a good night's sleep.
The haul this year: shirts, socks (SO. MANY. SOCKS. I will NEVER EVER run out of them again), chocolate, money, True Blood Season 1, giftcards, chocolate, headphones, watch, chocolate, body washes (most of which are too oily for my skin :( ), bwonny... a good haul. ;3
The only thing I didn't get that I wanted was a razor. And I can easily get that on my own. So yeah.

Yesterday I spent the WHOLE afternoon playing WoW. Got exalted with Sons o' Hody and Horde Expedition within ten minutes of each other. Got my shoulder enchant from SoH, yes! Did some Ndragon dailies. Fuck the mine one. It's fucking tedious as a skinner. Saw Aaron get Reins of the Deathcharger, which was pretty cool. Later on I watched 3 eps from True Blood. And no, I'm not a band wagon vampire fangirl! >8( This show is good, the characters are engaging, and it just happens to have vampires. And I started watching it way before the whole Twilight maelstrom so nyyyyaaaaaahhh.
Also had hang out time with Becca and Shaun, which turned into a party when Ashley, Derek, and Sarah came along as well. It was great fun. We chatted, played some Tribond, danced to Caramelldansen, Hare Hare Yukai, Time Warp, and Candyman (Cadillac Ranch works quite well with it). Apparently we played DDR as well. Aaron discovered a strange mixture of beer and Gatorade actually tastes decent. Shaun made something else with Gatorade that was good... I think it had watermelon Sour Puss in it? I started to conk out, but Becca and Ashley valiantly kept me awake for a good long time. Until I conked out anyway. 
Woke up confused at 7. Went back to bed for 2 hours, then started cleaning up. Becca and Shaun left in the night and they had already done some, so it wasn't bad. Ashley was awake and Derek got up soon after. Everyone decided to leave while I was in the shower, but I managed to catch Sarah before she drove away. 
Parents friends came over for a quick visit in the morning, which was why I had to clean as soon as I got up. Else my mom would most likely flay my hide.

And yeah. So that was the weekend. Many good times. Today I'll probably play lots of WoW again. I intend to go to the ICC raid tonight.

I built my bike, it's big and pink and I BUILT IT~ just about. hopefully it won't fall apart. I can't give it a test drive until like tuesday. baw work.


wooork, it was pretty busy the past two days and today I was on the knicker table of death, which in like and hour and a half I only managed to do 2/3rds of. yesterday I had my five-week review which was good, except I need to take more initiative, but I'm getting a ~section of my own~ after new years. excellent~!

I don't know what they sell in primani anymore though, unless it's bras, pants or pajamas. the rest of the store is like a huge mystery.

Yay, it's Christmas Eve day. :D

I sorta wish it wasn't almost Christmas yet, it feels like I haven't really had a chance to enjoy winter break because I've been so busy shopping and trying to get rid of 200+ stuffed animals.
By the way, the lady sent her friend to pick them up yesterday. She found my house amazingly easily. It was like magic. o.O Woo, my toys will get to do what they were made to do now! The top bunk on mah bed is still covered in the stuffed animals that were dirty/special/tiny/have broken motors. I'm going to have to do something about that. But maybe not for another year or two. :3

I have been doing a LOT of drawing the past few days. Like old times when every day I'd sit down and hammer out at least a couple pics. It's nice. It's been drawing (pun recognized but not intended) me back into SOAC as well. And Avatar. Man I want to do a nice picture of something from that movie. So many colours... @_@ I need to figure out if Navi have 4 toes or 5. They have 4 fingers for sure. The Avatars have 5, that's how you can tell them apart. .../nerd. The kid in me is still flipping her shit over the fact that cat people have made it as the stars of a major Hollywood production. FUCKYEAH

Other n that. Aaron and I had a nice "LAN party" last night. By which I mean we both sat in the same room and played WoW on our separate servers. XD I've decided to go for yet another dragon mount. Nether drake! Bro told me his friend got through the quests in like two weeks, which was encouraging to say the least. I need someone to help me with a 5 manner, though. It's low level, but my pet and I just don't have enough defense to take the guy down alone. I'ma bug Nick when he wakes up.

So that seems to be where we stand. I also got all my marks back, and they are consistently B and B+s. Not too bad. I think that brings my GPA to about 3.2. WHICHISSTILLNOTENOUGHFORGRADSCHOOLAAAARRRGGGHHHH. *stabs transcripts* Aside from the curve and whatever, there seems to be a personal plateau for me and overall marks which I just CANNOT pass no matter how much I study. WTF do I have to do to get up there?! How the fuck does anyone EVER get up there? It just seems so inconceivable and oirijeojokofmlfk...

...Whatever, whatever. Staying positive because it is almost Christmas, yaaaay! 8D

I didn't die in the snow!

but snow driving was very scary for mamon, so when we got home the gin was cracked out instantly. forgot how wonderfully wonderful my mums measures are in a g&t. this is to say nothing of the premium antiguan rum she brought me from that caribbean cruise. blow-your-face-off-good.

so essentially I went to bed very early after forgetting how to climb the stairs last night. :|


eurgh I was writing this awfully tl;dr post about how this is my 4th christmas in this house and what's changed since last time, but essentially it boils down to; christmas is an odd time, family is an odd thing. I'm in a ruminating mood after getting some news from a friend today, and from getting an impersonal card from my dad. or maybe it's the rum. siad news was both really good and quite sad, but I think I would be a crappy friend if I didn't feel a little sad because of it XD

I also forgot to do St Nikolaus this year. it's a german tradition involving shoes and treats early in december that ruth had us do last year. it was fun, and yet I forgot :<

also somehow managed to get a fair amount of an arthur app written for sc while on the train. am I really gonna do this? I should improve my existing activity first. this week was a total wash :| I have january to get into a better schedule though.

It's been a week since I last posted!!! Holy crap. Things of note that happened:

Friday was my birthday partay with friends, but I want to make a quick note about Avatar, which I went to see with my mom and bro and his friends in the afternoon.  WHAT A FRIGGIN COOL MOVIE. Seriously. The plot is basically Pocahontas from "John Smith's" point of view, but the story telling, characters, world, and AMAZING VISUALS totally won me over. Not to mention the Na'vi are like big blue cat people, har har. THEY HAVE TAILS <3333 The world-building aspect was definitely my favourite. It is very well-crafted and believable. I almost wish there was an MMO based on Pandora so I could have more of it. (There IS a video game out already but I don't think it's an MMO.)
In short: GO SEE DIS MOVIE. YOU WILL BE TAKEN FOR AN EPIC RIDE.

Ok. So there was that. Then my birthday!! Royce showed up at my house first. He brought me a card! :D Becca and Shaun showed up soon after. We chilled in the basement for pre drinkin'. Shaun continuously poured my Sour Puss into shots for everyone, so it disappeared in like half an hour, lol, and as a result I was quite buzzed by the time Ashley and Derek arrived. They got me a stuffed Domo-kun and a card too! ^_^ Yay! Becca and I had a philosophical conversation about "spirits" at some point, which was freakin awesome. Also Royce and his vodka-Gatorade. XD
We headed out to catch the 10pm bus, Ashley bringing a bottle of... something... with her. I don't remember. Whatever it was, it wasn't very tasty. The group tried to finish it by the time we arrived at Central from the train. We were quite noisy on our way there. New City was apparently having some kind of Christmas special event because the cover was twice as much as usual, but there wasn't anything going on while we were there. >:( Ah wells. At least the dancing was good. There are far too many pictures of me flailing on Facebook now thanks to Shaun. XP  And we had somewhere to sit, because I had booked a table. Becca bought me a Bottlecap, and Nick got a pitcher of some beer for the table, which was cool, but since I had to keep leaving to dance, my glass was mistaken a couple times and the drink decreased while I was away. >_< Anyway, lots of fun dancing together. Ashley and Derek left fairly quickly though. Apparently Ashley was cut off from the time we got there. o.O I'm not sure if they left because of that or some other reason.
Anyway, we all decided to head back around 12:15 because we were tired. Managed to catch a train, but the buses were done for the night, so we walked home from Clareview station. Oh and we pestered this one guy on the train a bunch because he was playing a PSP and everyone wanted to know what he was playing. I think it was Final Fantasy? We even invited him to walk with us. Rofl. Bunch of nerds. Drunk, but harmless nerds. Also, Royce had a voice recorder with him and he apparently made notes about what was happening throughout the night, which I didn't even notice until we were heading home. Lol. So he wouldn't forget. It was a loooong walk. Said bye to Becca and Shaun at Becca's house, then went home. Royce stayed in my bro's room, since Aaron seems to have a fondness for sleeping in the playroom. When Nick and I got up Royce was already gone. So yes, a pretty successful birthday party. :3 

Aaron and I went on a cleaning spree on Sunday before people came over for my family party. The upstairs is a lot less dusty now, which is nice. I even managed to vacuum under my bed a bit. Also, I called that lady about my stuffed animals. I'm supposed to drop them off at her house (which is on the South side) tonight, but if she's going to be on the North side, which she might, I'm going to ask her to come pick them up. It's still snowing and I don't feel secure in driving to an unfamiliar part of the city (frigging Mill Woods!) in this weather. I went through the entire pile, and now have two garbage bags FULL of stuffed animals. I really hope that she takes the little TYs as well. They're basically worth nothing since they're not mint anymore and I'd so rather have kids play with them than just throw them out. T_T
I had to keep stuffies that have visible dirty spots on them, and I also kept my two Kitty Kitty Kittens, Spot and Puffy, because they're very close to my heart. Also anything that was really small (smaller than a TY), and the original "cast" of SOAC. Heh. One day I'll let go of those guys...

Although I have more crap to talk about, I'm going to stop there because it's already long. ...Except for one thing. The Kamui Gakuen Anthem.  Just... man. XD It's like something out of Excel Saga. I just cannot listen to it without laughing. I personally hope to see more ridiculous school-related stuff from our dear kachou. ;3
